Shorts + Skirt = Skort!

Ever since I was young, I’ve been a fan of the skort. This was definitely the “it” thing to wear in the 90s - feeling ladylike in a skirt but with the comfort of shorts. This skort from Zara is cute yet soo functional and I love that it has a faux suede look to it with an asymmetric wrap style front. This is one piece I will definitely be styling for winter and transitioning easily into the springtime by pairing it with a white sweater or blouse and sandals.

Also, who else is in a winter rut? I seriously am so sick of this cold weather and snow. I am CRAVING warm weather and luckily I think we only have a few weeks left until then! I can’t wait for colorful sweaters, shorts, dresses without tights, sandals, etc. - all the spring feels! I’ve also been working long hours since the beginning of January and doing two whole months of that seriously starts taking a toll on your health and well being! I’m at the final stretch now so hopefully this crazy work season will be over soon and I can then get back into my regular routine that I miss so much!
