Gone are the days of 90-degree weather, humidity (and crazy hair days), beach days and hello to the cool crisp days of fall filled with yummy pumpkin spice lattes, changing leaves and Halloween (who doesn't love the 31 nights of Halloween movies?!). Most importantly we bring out our cozy sweaters, riding boots, and the endless layers that have been stored away for months in our closets.

This knit dress from Club Monaco is a perfect transition piece from summer to fall by just changing up the accessories. If I was to wear this look again for the fall season I would throw on a leather jacket and white sneakers or over the knee boots. I also love the knotted style and how comfortable the dress is. I hope Club Monaco comes out with more colors right now it only comes in the grey.

Here's a look I wore a few weeks ago and wanted to share with you all. This bohemian inspired dress is the updated little black dress for the summer! The dress has cute pom pom details going across the waist and arms and is effortlessly chic. The dress also runs a little on the flowy side so I am wearing a size extra-small here (I usually run a size small at Club Monaco). If you wanted it more on the loose size I would definitely say to stick with your normal size.

I hope all my lovely readers had a fab weekend!  Here's a look I wore over the weekend to dinner. This blouse from Club Monaco is stunning. I love how flowy the blouse is along with the voluminious ruffles on this blouse. You can dress this blouse up or down (I decided to dress it up for dinner) but I can see myself pairing this blouse with cute pointy flats. The back of the blouse adds a hint of sexyness with the buttons going down the backside. The top is also of high quality (made from silk) and is so much fun to wear!

Faux Fur Fashion Trend

A must have fashion trend for the winter season is the faux fur vest. Faux fur is not only timeless, but is also a classic staple in any wardrobe. This winter, the classic trend got an update by stores offering various colors, lengths, and styles.

During a recent shopping trip on Walnut street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania I scoped out a couple of faux fur vests. I fell in love with this grey one at Club Monaco (On sale $139).

It is also important to rock one piece at a time and not to over-do it. For instance, the grey vest from Club Monaco I would pair with heels or boots, black pants, and a simple long sleeve shirt or blouse underneath. The key is to make the faux fur vest stand out and become the statement piece of the outfit.

Faux fur accessories are also on trend. Hats, gloves, scarves, and boots with the faux fur trim are everywhere!
