I can't believe one month of 2016 has already gone by! Valentine's Day is fast approaching and I wanted to share with all of you what my husband and I were doing this year.  This year for Valentine's Day my husband and I are keeping a low profile and staying in! We figured since we're both super busy at work (myself an Accountant and him a Real Estate agent) we really just wanted to spend some quality time together.

For this Valentine's Day casual is definitely the way to go.  I love this comfortable (and very warm) sweater from H&M in my favorite blush color paired with one of my favorite statement necklaces from LOFT.

Blanket Cape Perfect For A Casual Weekend

Happy Monday everyone! One of my favorite Holiday gifts from my parents was this beautiful cape. I wore it during the day time over the weekend on Saturday to brunch and while running errands.  It is soo comfortable and cozy I didn't feel like taking it off! When I'm wearing a cape or poncho I like to keep the look basic and casual. I paired this cape with a pair of black jeans, black suede booties, and a cute cross body bag to finish off the look. Capes and ponchos are a great layering piece this winter season and are super trendy.  They also add a touch of sleek and sophistication which is what I love about them!

If it's one thing I love about winter it's bundling up and keeping warm through the chilly weather. This Banana Republic fringe sweater is not only extremely warm but is stunning! The material is also nice and thick. The fringe at the bottom had me at first look because I knew I could dress tho sweater up or down.  The sweater is longer in the front and shorter in the back.  

I believe this sweater comes in both the camel color (the one I am wearing) and also white.  But, since I have so many white sweaters sitting in my closet, I thought a camel color sweater was a nice change.  This sweater definitely does not disappoint!  I paired this sweater with my favorite Saint Laurent handbag and these super cute heels with a tie in the back. This look is perfect for a night out or a date night!

Happy first Saturday of 2016! If you've checked out my instagram you'll know that I'm in Arizona for the week. The weather has been nice here (in comparison to Philadelphia) and will be in the 60s over the weekend! Since the weather is somewhat warm during the day and gets chilly at night, I've opted to wear layers. I am absolutely in love with vests this winter season. They are not only comfortable, but are versatile and can be dressed up or down. As a bonus, this knit vest is also very budget friendly... I'm thinking of also buying one in the camel color!
