I can't believe 2015 is coming to an end. Here are a few last minute New Years outfit ideas if you haven't gotten your outfits picked out yet. On a sidenote, this year has been filled with many new fun experiences. None of this would have been possible without any you! There will be many new fun posts and a variety of new projects coming in the next year and I hope you're as excited as I am. It's been such an amazing year and I can't wait to see what 2016 has in store!

I absolutely love the holidays! For Christmas my husband, brother, and I traveled to Connecticut to my parents home. On Saturday we all went to see Star Wars: The Force Awakens and it was AMAZING! I highly recommend it if you haven't seen it already.

The weather up in Connecticut has been really odd lately - muggy, warm, and rainy.  I remember this time of year last year there was already snow.  Since it wasn't really jacket weather, this vest from Ann Taylor was perfect paired with a long sleeve shirt, jeans, and black boots. I also decided to channel my inner Princess Leia for the occasion and braided a piece of my hair into a chignon.

December is always a special month for me not only because of the holiday season, but because of my birthday! For my birthday, my husband took me to one of the restaurants I’ve been meaning to go to for a while called Vernick.  It’s located in Center City Philadelphia (the downtown area for those of you who aren’t familiar). The food was AMAZING and I can’t wait to go back! You can check out my YELP review here.  My husband also took me to King of Prussia mall and spoiled me with wonderful gifts – he’s honestly the best! On Saturday we celebrated my birthday with our friends which was so much fun! It was definitely a memorable and special birthday!

For my birthday celebrations Saturday night, I paired this gold tweed skirt with a simple long sleeve shirt and added a glamorous asymmetrical teardrop necklace.  What drew me to the skirt was that it’s made from a thick tweed material with an inverted-pleat and also has pockets! (Seriously, who doesn't love pockets?!) The material of the dress is absolutely perfect for cold weather.  I really wanted the skirt and necklace to stand out so I paired the look with a plain black long-sleeve shirt. I added my Saint Laurent bag which was the perfect touch.

The holiday season is among us and in full swing. What’s not to love about the holidays? It’s the time to spend with family, friends, and loved ones and of course, attending parties! I always find myself looking for holiday outfits right after Thanksgiving and stocking up before sizes run out!

This jacquard flare dress in this beautiful emerald color from LOFT caught my eye.  This flare dress is sweater material and is super comfortable. I kept the accessories to a minimum as I wanted the print of the outfit to stand out.  I paired this look with my Saint Laurent purse and simple black booties from Nine West. These booties are another one of my favorite investments of the fall and winter season.  I’ve got them constantly on repeat!
