We are just about through the month of January and that means February is literally right around the corner! The next major holiday coming up is Valentine’s Day on February 14th. Valentine’s Day to me is to celebrate love and affection -and that can be any sort of love (not only romantic). Last year the hubby surprised me with dinner at Zahav which is one of my favorite restaurants in the city. The owner/chef Michael Solomonov was actually there that night and he came over to our table to chat with us! And of course he signed his Zahav cookbook for me. It was so memorable and special.
Last week I polled everyone on my Instagram to see what sort of content you wanted to see. It was pretty much a 50/50 split on ideas on styling blouses and dresses for Valentine’s Day. This outfit is casual yet chic and perfect for a casual Valentine’s Day outing! I just love the raspberry color of this blouse and how it drapes so perfectly. The color is a little unexpected and isn’t the traditional red/pink color which is what I love so much about it. In order to keep things casual I paired the blouse with skinny black jeans, pumps and my favorite Chanel bag.
