Can you believe it’s already the last day of September? We have had cool fall temps here in Philadelphia and it has made me SO excited for fall! I have to admit that I love this time of year - from the beautiful fall decorations and fall foliage, going to the pumpkin patch, sipping on warm drinks and wearing all the cozy clothing!

One wardrobe staple I love pulling out in my closet this time of year is the sweater dress. What I love about sweater dresses is that you can dress them up or down. If it’s chilly outside, then you can layer it up with a suede or leather jacket or a cozy scarf. Fall Maternity Outfit Inspiration

Fall weather is FINALLY here and I’m really enjoying it! When the temperatures start cooling down I like to take my summer pieces and add layers to make them wearable for the fall weather. This outfit is super effortless and also soo comfortable (especially if you are pregnant)! The pieces are not maternity so I’m trying to get as much use as I can before I have to start buying bigger clothes (for reference I am at 26 weeks and wearing this dress in a size small). This look was perfect for a casual stroll followed by some outdoor dining near the waterfront in the city.

Wearing White After Labor Day

Who says you can’t wear white after Labor Day? Today I’m breaking this old cardinal rule with this super cute ruffle sleeve white dress by English Factory. After Labor Day people are back in the city, kids are back in school and it feels like summer is over.. which it technically isn’t until mid September. So I’m trying to savior the last few days of warm weather while I can. For transitioning into fall, try breaking up the all white look with a denim jacket or a chic leather jacket. Who says you can’t make your own rules?

I am so thankful for all the kind wishes, love and support from everyone over the last week! I’ve received an overwhelming amount of calls, texts and messages congratulating us on our pregnancy announcement! Not only that, but over the weekend the hubby and I celebrated our 6 Year Wedding Anniversary! These past 6 Years have been nothing short of amazing and I can’t wait to see what the rest of our lives have in store!

I also wanted to show you the outfit I wore for our anniversary and felt it was perfect for the occasion. How girly and fun are the ruffles on this dress? I’m trying to soak in the last few days of the warm weather before fall is upon us and then we’ll all be wearing sweaters and leggings!

We are excited to finally share some BIG NEWS that’s been blossoming over here the last few months..

We are expecting and are due December 2020!

We are super excited for this next chapter in our lives and couldn’t be more grateful and thrilled. Life has been super crazy the last few months but I wouldn’t change it any other way. I am already more than halfway there and it’s been extremely hard to keep this a surprise. Let’s be honest - this baby bump was getting real hard to hide! The last few months have been amazing telling our immediate family and close friends. We feel incredibly lucky to be bringing our baby into this world in the next few months and could’t be more excited! God’s timing is truly a blessing.
