One item that I can never get enough of during the cold months are long cozy vests. I seriously love to wear them all the time and they go well as layering pieces! The one I am wearing in the photos above is from SheIn.  It is not only super affordable but the vest comes in a thick material and looks great. This vest comes in two colors: red (the one I am wearing) and also a mustard color. Check out the vest HERE! I paired this look with jeans, a basic black v-neck pullover, and heels. Also, while we're on the topic of SheIn, I've gotten a couple of items from there and for the price I think their clothing is definetly worth buying! Especially for those trend pieces that you don't want to spend alot of money on.

One of my favorite pants I've worn over the holidays are these beautiful red lace pants by JCrew! Some of my favorite features about these lace pants is that the material is very comfortable and there is an elastic band which makes them so easy to wear! I paired these red lace pants with a simple white blouse from Zara. These red lace pants would also be absolutely perfect for Valentine's Day or a Day Night! Also, the best part? On another note, hope all my East Coast readers are doing okay in this snow storm! We got about 4-5 inches here in the City of Philadelphia. The snow looks so beautiful but it's a nightmare trying to venture outside especially since it's so windy out!

Happy New Year! Hope everyone got some well-deserved time off and got to recharge for the new year! I am ready and back stronger than ever for 2018! It's been quite the busy last two weeks. I was at my parents home for Christmas for a few days and then we flew out to Arizona to spend New Years with my in-laws so we've been out here for a little under a week. The weather is soo nice here - it's been getting up to 75 each day. I've been hearing that the east coast is absolutely freezing! I hope our flight back tomorrow goes smooth. Long story short from Philadelphia to Arizona there was a maintenance issue with the plane and we were stuck at the airport for 7.5 hours. It honestly really sucked and unfortunately American Airlines did not provide sufficient compensation (anyone else have to deal with this before?!). Anyways I'm going to put that behind me as I didn't really get anywhere with their horrible Customer Relations department. Luckily we are flying Southwest home so I'm really optimistic it'll be a better experience.

One trend I am loving for winter is the velvet skirt trend. This blush skirt from Target is absolutely stunning and for under $20 it's quite the steal.
