What to Wear To a Fall Wedding

This year has been another year of weddings! We have had a total of six weddings this year - five of which are done with and one of which is coming up towards the end of the month. I'm not going to lie though.. I love attending weddings! There is something about weddings that is just magical. Last weekend we were in Baltimore, Maryland for a wedding reception. The venue was at Corradetti Glassblowing Studio & Gallery. It was such cute and rustic place and had artwork inside. We had a great time!

I had ordered this dress last minute and was crossing my fingers that it would fit since it might or might not get delivered on time. The dress came in literally the day before we had to leave (I love the fact that ASOS has two day shipping) and I was so happy that it fit PERFECTLY! What I love about the dress is that this color looks GORGEOUS with my skin tone! I also like that the cold shoulder detail gives the dress a modern edge. The dress has pleats in it and the silky material makes this dress quite perfect for a dressy occasion. I wanted to keep the neckline simple so I opted out of wearing a necklace but I did pair the look with statement stud earrings.

Now that we are in the middle of September I am starting to feel the temperature dip here in Philadelphia. I am not going to lie, while I absolutely love warm weather, summer dresses, shorts, and sandals I am ready to start wearing cozy knit sweaters! Right now is definitely one of my favorite times of the year. One of my recent purchases for the fall season was this super cozy knit sweater from Express. What I love about this top it pairs perfectly with distressed jeans and heels making this outfit absolutely perfect for a night out. I also loveee the cute  bows that tie at the end of the sleeves which I feel takes this knit sweater to the next level!

Free People Perfectly Victorian Dress

I do have my fare share of Free People dresses in my closet, but hands down the Perfectly Victorian Mini Dress has to be my favorite! The embroidery on the dress is stunning and I absolutely loveee the fact that the dress is lined. The worst thing in a dress you could have is no lining on the inside leaving all your goodies showing *GASP!!*. Other things that I really like about the dress is the fact that it has sleeves, the length, and the fit. Dresses such as this one are easy to transition into fall by pairing with a jacket (like this denim one). This dress is also definitely not going to go out of style anytime soon. I've seen soo many people wearing this dress year after year in a variety of colors! For fall I definitely want to add more to my collection such a red, black, or yellow.  On a sidenote the Perfectly Victorian Dress is on sale at Bloomingdale for $100!!

The Perfect White Lace Top

Lace is one of those pieces that is so classic and feminine. It's probably only one of the few pieces that have been around for years and years. I scored this white lace top from Zara which is on sale right now for $22.99! Seriously guys, that's such a great deal. The material of the lace is thick and provides good coverage. I wore this top to work with a pair of black pants and then to dinner with jeans. I am wearing a size extra-small in this top since it runs a little on the large size (my usual size is small from Zara).

I am wearing a tank top underneath from H&M. One of the other takes on wearing a lace is to get rid of the tank underneath and pair with a pretty bralette. If you want to stay on the more conservative then opt for the tank top or cami like I did above. Lace is definitely one of those pieces that you need to incorporate into your wardrobe since it'll never go out of style and is always trending! What do you think of this trend?
