Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2018 Details

I can't believe the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is almost here! This has got to be one of my favorite times of the year for being a blogger because I get to share with all of you items that are new and on sale for a limited amount of time! The sale includes BRAND NEW fall merchandise and of course wardrobe staples. Keep reading below for details!

What is the Nordstrom Sale?

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale also known as the #NSale is one of Nordstrom's biggest sales of the year which goes for a few weeks.

When is the Nordstrom Sale?

Key dates for the #NSale include the following:

July 11 - Level 4 Cardholders get to pre-shop the sale in stores

July 12 - Early Access Sale starts for all Nordstrom cardholders. Cardholders definitely get the best picks so if you don't have a Nordstrom card you can Sign up here! 

July 20 - The Nordstrom sale opens to everyone

August 5 - Last day of the sale!

Why Shop the Nordstrom Sale?

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is literally the BEST sale of the year! The sale has brand new items for the upcoming fall that are marked down! This is the best time to stock up on your sweaters, jeans, boots, shoes, makeup, handbags, etc. Not only can you stock up on your fall items alot of wardrobe staples go on sale as well such as workout gear, jeans, leggings, cardigans, t-shirts, etc.

Unlike other sales where items start at full price and then get marked down, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is the opposite. Items start on sale for a selected period of time and then prices will go back up in August.

To avoid getting overwhelmed I always have a strategy in place when shopping the Nordstrom sale. First I go through my closet to see what I need. Do I need new pair of boots? Leggings? Tanks? Sweaters? After putting together a list of items I need, I then browse the catalog (linked above) to get a sense of what will be going on sale. I jot down brands, styles, and prices so I know which departments to go to first. It's like creating a road map!

Also, the best items tend to sell out fast and first so having a card to shop the sale is KEY (which you can sign up HERE). Once you get a card make sure to use your triple point days!

The last week has been so much fun and relaxing! My husband and I were with some of our friends in Ocean City, Maryland for 5 nights and 4 days. We had a great time exploring the beach town and I can't wait to come back! This past weekend my parents had a big BBQ at their home in Connecticut which was so much fun! I love spending time with my family and I also got to see some of my relatives that I hadn't seen in a while. 

I wore this look last week and I have to say it's such a fun look! I am really obsessed with the off the shoulder trend this summer (and am secretly hoping it comes back next year!). I also like that the dress itself is plain yet has the bright pink pom pom details to brighten it up! My dress is also on sale right now! Hello from Ocean City, Maryland! It's my first time here and we are here for a couple of days. We're having soo much fun and the weather has been beautiful (80s and sunny!). We went to the beach Saturday morning and it felt so nice just to lay out in the sun. This look was taken Saturday evening before heading to Seacrets which was so much fun! Seacrets is a waterfront restaurant, bar and nightclub in Ocean City. It's a huge complex and we had a fun time eating dinner and dancing the night away! If any of you have recommendations in Ocean City, Maryland let me know since we are still here for a few more days!

Summer is in full swing and one accessory I can't live without is a great pair of flip flops! Flip flops are literally the best and you need a pair that can be easily paired with dresses, shorts, jeans, swimsuit, etc! Flip flops have come such a long way as they come in such a variety of colors and styles. Flip flops have gotten a major update and TKEES is one brand that does not disappoint! 

TKEES are leather sandals and are minimalistic, comfortable, and simple. I ordered both the Juniper and Lavender color. While I really like the Juniper sandal for its simplicity I absolutely love the lavender flip flop. They come with a twist in the front which adds the perfect detail. I can't wait to pair these flip flops with a white dress down at the shore this weekend!
