The Coziest Handmade Crewneck Sweatshirt

Crewneck sweatshirts have seriously been my go-to whenever possible. I know back in the day I wouldn't be caught dead wearing a sweatshirt but things have definitely come a long way! I love how today's sweatshirts have been updated with funny sayings and graphics - I like to call this the "statement sweatshirt". It's a great way to express yourself and to be super cozy at the same time! Now that's a win-win situation in my books.

On the weekends I literally live in my leggings and always pair them with cozy sweatshirts. The sweatshirt I am wearing above says "CAFFIEND" (as in CAFFEINE plus FIEND) with a picture of a hand drawn coffee mug.

Seriously, it's an awesome play on words.

Each sweatshirt is printed with a hand drawn image. These sweatshirts are seriously so cozy and soft. I've already worn this sweatshirt multiple times and I love wearing it. You can wear this sweatshirt from lounging around the house or out and about like I did with my Nike sneakers!

The Best Colorful Striped Sweaters This Season

Happy Thursday everyone! I am happy to report that we are almost to the end of the week and boy, it's going to be quite the busy weekend - between blogging Saturday morning, a friends birthday bash Saturday night, and then Superbowl Sunday (GO EAGLES!). Let's just say I'm quite excited!

Lately all I've been craving are warmer temperatures and spring colors. I was secretly hoping that these pretty spring colors would bring out the sun and warmer temps and since tomorrow is Groundhog Day maybe my wishes will come true.  I found this beautiful pastel knit sweater at H&M for under $20.00 and it's the one sweater I keep seeing popping up everywhere on my Instagram feed! This sweater is wide-cut and comes in the softest knit material. I can't wait to re-style this sweater when it's actually spring with white jeans or shorts!

The Perfect Pink Sweater for Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day is literally around the corner (15 more days to be exact)! One of the reasons why I love this holiday is that it's one day in the year acceptable to wear pink or red in any way, style and form possible.

This year I didn't want to wear a red dress - I know it's the exact opposite of what alot of women do but think about it.. who really wants to be out and about in a dress freezing their butt off in the cold? Also (and the most important reason) it's an outfit that most people would instantly think of!  I decided to take the unconventional route this year and styled a Valentine's Day look with this cozy pink knit sweater which is perfect for a Valentine's Day date night, a causal night out, or even a night in!  You can dress this sweater up with heels or with a more casual look in a pair of flats. 

I also love that this sweater has a hole-knit pattern at the front and on the sleeves. The sleeves are also balloon shape (which is trending right now!) and really takes this knit sweater to the next level. This sweater also comes in a beautiful red color for those that want something brighter. I linked a few other cute pink sweaters below.

Here's How to Wear This Seasons High Waisted Pants

Don't you love when you put on an outfit and instantly feel so chic and put together? This is one of those moments that I had. I can't even begin to tell you how much I love these high-waisted pants (or known to some as the "paper-bag pant"). Just something about them makes an outfit look amazing so follow my suggestions below on how to wear these high-waisted pants!

Wear High-Waisted Pants With a Tucked in Top

First and foremost, what’s the point of wearing high-waisted pants if you’re going to be covering them with an untucked top? It's so important that the pants are the focus of this outfit and that they don't get overshadowed with an oversized top or one that is untucked.

Porportions

Proportions are super important when wearing high-waisted pants. As mentioned above, high-waisted pants are in my opinion worn best with a shirt tucked in to balance out the look. This also helps to accentuates your waist and creates that beautiful hourglass figure. Also, avoid blouses and shirts that are too baggy as it will make you seem larger. Lastly, make sure to play with the length of the pants, you don't want them too short so I suggest ankle or longer length - which leads into my next topic below.

Length

I always love a good heel with a pair of high-waisted pants to create an illusion of long length and adds height. Also, since these pants in particular are ankle length, a heel works best. I also like to play with length of an outfit and putting it all together by adding a long jacket to finish off the look.
