The hubby and I grabbed lunch in Center City Philadelphia and did some shopping (one of my favorite activities!). After lunch we ended up walking through the City Hall area. Over the years Philadelphia has gone through so many changes (in a good way!) and the city is doing so much to make Philadelphia an even more prettier place than it already is! City Hall is definitely worth checking out and there is always something happening over there!
Pretty in Pink
Blouse: Ann Taylor / Jeans: LOFT / Heels: INC (Similar) / Handbag: Saint Laurent
Sunglasses: Ray-Ban Aviator / Earrings: Givenchy / Watch: Movado Bold
This pink pindot flute blouse from Ann Taylor has been on major repeat lately. I wore this look last week to lunch with my hubby in the city and received alot of compliments on it! The thing I love about this blouse is that it is so lightweight and the blush color goes with just about everything! This top comes in two colors pink and black - but the pink is just beautiful and so feminine!

Cold Shoulder Blouse
Blouse: Zara / Jeans: LOFT / Handbag: Saint Laurent
Sunglasses: Ray-Ban Aviator / Heels: INC / Lip Stain: Kat Von De
Cold shoulder tops have got to be another one of my favorite trends that are happening right now. Cold shoulder tops are a good medium between completely baring your shoulders and keeping them covered all the way up for the winter. The other thing I love about this trend is that it dresses up even the most basic jeans - throw a pair of fabulous heels and a bag on and you are ready for a night on the town!
I linked a few other cute off the shoulder tops below. What do you think of this trend?
How to Wear a Poncho
Poncho: Uniqlo / Blouse: Zara (Similar) / Jeans: LOFT / Booties: Nine West (Similar)
Handbag: Saint Laurent / Sunglasses: Ray-Ban Aviator / Watch: Movado
The temperature dropped on Saturday and it's surely feeling like fall here in Philadelphia! One of my favorite cold weather staples is a warm and fashionable poncho. Ponchos are so comfortable, perfect for layering and you can dress them either up or down! Wearing a poncho can seem intimidating but honestly have fun with it! Here are a few rules I swear by:
Statement Piece
1. Use your poncho as a statement piece. I like to pair neutral colors with my poncho so that the poncho becomes the focus of an outfit.
Layering
2. Ponchos are great for layering. I usually choose garments underneath that are form fitting so that the poncho doesn't make the outfit look frumpy. I usually pair my ponchos with a long sleeve shirt, skinny jeans, and booties.
Have Fun With It
3. Don't be afraid to have fun with it! Pair your poncho with skinny jeans, leggings, shorts, skirts, dresses - anything goes!
